SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sister Turner, our new nurse arrived today from the United States. This is her fifth health mission, and she's going to be great!
President Ostler and I are grateful from the bottom of our feet to the top of our heads for our senior missionaries!!! They provide such a great support to missions! How grateful we are for wonderful people like Sister Turner who find joy in serving again and again. Health concerns are an important responsibility for any mission, but we are particularly grateful for help here in the Philippines. Sister Turner, we love you!!! The missionaries will all get to meet her next week during zone conferences.
On a personal note, I just want to let you that I KNOW Heavenly Father is aware of us and hears our prayers. Last year, when all of our senior missionaries were going home and we were left with only one set, one night before going to bed, we plead desperately in prayer for more seniors. The very next morning, the phone rang early. It was a lady in Salt Lake from the missionary department at Church Headquarters. She said she was wondering if we could use some senior missionaries! We haven't had a call like that before or since. I know this is God's work. He is at the helm. We can trust in Him, His timing, His wisdom and His power to aid us.
How grateful I am to be part of something that it really true! Every day brings new evidences or witnesses of that.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each of the wonderful couples who have served or are serving now. We LOVE YOU!!!!
