Well, parents, it's finally time. 17 of you will have a son or daughter returning home to you very soon. Oh, how we will miss them! I wish you could have been with them today as we went to the American War Memorial Cemetery and talked about what the soldiers had sacrificed so that we could have the freedom to share the gospel in the Philippines. Then we talked about what THEY have sacrificed so that the wonderful people of Manila and Palawan can have spiritual freedom. They finished their visit to the cemetery by spending a few moments alone covenanting with the Lord what they will give the rest of their lives. Their "mission" in life isn't over, this is just a farther transfer....and they will have to find their own companion.
President & Sister's Ostler's personal blog, not an official mission blog, written with the intent of communicating with family, friends and missionary families and sharing the wonderful happenings in the Manila Mission during 2014-2017.
