Our trip to Palawan was particularly enjoyable as we were able to see our missionaries who we miss on the mainland. We were also able to attend church and visit some of the families.
In the Narra District, there is a group of 30 who are preparing to go to the temple for the first time. We had a short meeting after church where they each shared their reasons for wanting to go to the temple. It was a beautiful and humbling experience together. Elder and Sister Wirthlin have made SUCH a difference in Narra. They have a quiet way of spreading goodness wherever they are. We are so blessed to have them.
We were also able to attend the baptism of a young man who is well loved by his branch.
